Walk-in Interview for UGC BSR Fellowships in the Department of Biotechnology, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi

Department of Biotechnology, Faculty of Science. Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi will be holding a Walk-in-Interview for the award of Four UGC-BSR Research Fellowships with the purpose of providing opportunities to meritorious students to undertake research in the thrust areas of the Metabolic Department: Engineering of Plant Metabolites and Proteomics Based Biomarkers. 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: 

a) Candidate should be M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Biosciences/Life Sciences with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade. 

b) For UGC fellowship candidates should be registered for Ph.D. programme. 

c) Those candidates who are in the process of Admission/Registration in Ph.D. programme in the Department of Biotechnology, Jamia Hamdard are also eligible to appear in the interview. 

d) Desirable qualification : UGC-NET/GATE 

Emoluments : Rs. 16,000 + HRA as per norms

Venue : Board Room, Faculty of Science 

March, 2013 at 2.30 PM 

Candidates will be required to report at 2:00 PM and submit the application along with recent Bio-data and testimonials in the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Science. 

1. Applications submitted in hard copy shall be entertained or considered for award of scholarship in any circumstances whatsoever. 

2. Record of candidates, who are not selected, shall not be preserved beyond three months from the date of declaration of results.
